Scholar engines were formed in September
1968 to produce modified performance road,
race, rally and various
competition engines. During this period of time we have gained
an enviable record for producing highly competitive cost effective
engines. |

Our most outstanding achievements have
been in ultra competitive “Formula Ford”
racing class, both in the Kent engine and latterly
Zetec engine categories, and with the introduction
of the all-new Ford Duratec, we are now fast
becoming Duratec specialists. Many of the worlds leading racing
drivers have used the services of Scholar during the early part
of their careers. In 2002 five Formula One Grand Prix drivers
were past customers of Scholar Engines |
